You are all encouraged to locate, and provide to your family members copies of your DD-214 to facilitate receipt of veteran’s benefits. For instance, a DD-214 is required for receipt of a burial flag from a U.S. Post Office or to request for burial in a national cemetery. By going through this website you will be able to request your DD-214 and any other military forms/honors you may need.
A copy of your DD-214 is neccesary to apply for membership to Post 23
